Missions Trip to Haiti

I am Josh Lawson and first went to Haiti in October of 2010. There were figured to be over 1 million children displaced and deaths that went into the hundreds of thousands. In 2010 I could feel the grief as I rode through the streets and walked into neighborhoods. The feeling is changing. I have been back 10 times and each time there is a new adventure awaiting.

Whether playing soccer or building a house or holding a child that hasn't eaten in days or been held in weeks the experience is always huge and life-changing. I am really excited for this trip coming up in July. One of my 4 sons, Garrett, will be going with me. This will be the first time that any of the boys have done such a thing. I am excited to see what God has in store for us! Please support us

A Haitian man said to me, "Josh, you people can come here and bring us money, but we would spend it and it would be gone. You can bring us food, but then we would eat it and we would be hungry again. BUT when you continue to come down here over and over again.....that brings us hope... and if we have hope than anything is possible."
I am going back. (and taking my son!)
