Fund the Sanctuary Fence

Joni is a volunteer with Camp Companion, an animal rescue group based in Rochester MN.  We rescue and spay/neuter cats from all areas of SE Minnesota.  These cats are lost, or more likely, abandoned, having been left to fend for themselves.  They come from the outdoors - showing up at houses or dropped off in parks or at businesses or left behind in rental apartments and houses or trailer parks.  Most of these cats are adoptable and stay in foster homes until they are adopted.
For some of these cats though,  life is more difficult and they aren't adoptable for various reasons - health issues, aggressiveness, or being too feral to adapt to an indoor life in a home.  These cats go to a small sanctuary, built and funded by Joni, where they are fed and sheltered for the rest of their lives.  They are housed in buildings that have a small outside enclosure.  But Joni has a bigger dream for these cats:  she wants to enclose a half acre of her property,  on which these buildings are located, with a cat proof fence that will allow the cats to run and play or just find a quiet place to take a nap in the sun or under a shade tree away from the other cats.
This project will cost $9600.  (Because the rescue group needs all it's funds to continue the trap, neuter, return program that is its main mission, no extra money is available to help Joni with her project. ) Not only will this fence make life better for the current resident cats, it will allow for more cats to join this safe sanctuary and there is so much need.  I hope all animal lovers will help Joni with a donation to allow these cats to run "free."
