Help the Tampa Pirates of Skyway reach the Pony Elite Baseball Zone Tournament being held in Burleson, Texas. The tournament begins July 18, 2013 so we don't have much time! These 11 year olds have played their hearts out and less than a week before the county tournament they were told they were ineligible to compete. This was because they had played a few games in another league (not park ball) to improve their skills. They also are banned from the All-Stars in June. The team was devastated, but there is a silver lining. We have been informed the Pirates are eligible to play in the Zone Tournament leading to the National Championship! Now we need your help. This news was sprung on the families only weeks before this tournament is set to begin. Thousands of dollars are needed for travel and accommodations in order for our deserving boys and girl (yep, our catcher is a girl) to get from Tampa, Florida to Burleson, Texas. So, please help and donate. Teach this team that hard work and perseverance really does pay! GO PIRATES!
