Tim’s story begins about 4 years ago 2014. He started having headaches, not too unusual since there is a family history of migraines. Unfortunately, Tim’s headaches continued to increase in frequency, severity and duration. Tim’s speech began to slur and he had a seizure. Tim was diagnosed with brain tumors. Early stage Astrocytoma.
Eventually, Tim found his way to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore where they treated him with surgery. They removed as much of the tumor as they could and sent him home to Houston. That was about 3 years ago. Tim has been symptom free until recently. Tim started feeling numbness on his right side and then seizures. Yesterday Tim collapsed at work and wound up in the ER where they determined his brain was swelling then today after doing an MRI they found he has an inoperable brain tumor. The Doctors said there is an experimental procedure being performed at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore that might help.
Tim had a good job with a good company in the Oil business but when the economy went bad Tim was laid off. Tim tried his hand at Real Estate for a while but the housing market wasn’t good for Tim. Through all this Tim lost his health insurance and when he applied for ACA insurance he was told he only qualified for a modest amount of aid leaving the insurance payments greater than is annual income.
The funds will be sent to Robert Joslin who is Tim's uncle. He has set up a trust account for these funds. Robert Joslin has Tim's power of attorney and will be managing these funds as needs arise for Tim.
Any help you could give to Tim would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
