Flood damage

Today my sister was hit with an unimaginable tragedy. Early this morning the fire sprinkler in her apartment building broke. It flooded her entire apartment. Everything is a loss as the water came through the ceiling. She is a single mom of two awesome girls. She devotes her time and money to do everything she can for her girls. On a tight budget she works miracles. Not only is she at a loss of worldly possessions, but she has no place to live for two months as they renovate the flooded apartment. She would never ask for help (she's strong and stubborn ) but as she told me about all the simple things my heart broke. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, underwear, shoes and clothes. All the daily things we don't even think of. She has nothing. I know the holidays are tough but I know there is so much good out there. Any money donated will go to help pay for replacing the basic items she has lost like the girls beds, bedding, clothes, toiletries and school supplies. I appreciate you reading this and even if you're unable to donate just sharing this story will be a wonderful gift.
