Help build a ramp for James Ellis

Donation protected
A lot of you may or may not know that last year on December 13th (Friday the 13th) James had to undergo emergency surgery to amputate his right foot and part of his leg. There was no time to prepare and plan ahead for when he came home. It has been a tough year for him ever since. He kicked butt in the hospital and worked hard to not have a long stay in the hospital. He came home just 14 days after surgery. He got fitted for a prosthetic and set goals for himself. And then covid-19 happened. It was at the start of his therapy journey for him to learn to walk again with his prosthetic. Because his therapy sessions were no longer possible because of covid, James is still in his wheelchair.
Getting in and out of the house safely is an issue. With bad weather coming, we need to get him a ramp built sooner rather than later. We have 3 steps that he needs to maneuver and crawl up to get up onto the porch and into his wheelchair to go into the house and the neighbor broke the railing he was using to help him. To go out he has to get out of his chair and sit on the step and crawl down until he can then stand up to get in the vehicle. Last winter he did it when he had to, but it wasn't easy or very safe.
No donation is too small because every little bit will help. I just want James to be able to have a ramp to get in and out of the house safely and not have him crawling in the cold snow and ice to do so with winter coming.  If you can't donate, please just share this page. Thank you!!
