I have never done one of these before but I felt compelled to help.
Matt Parola is one of my closest friends. He was a groomsman in my wedding. He has been a friend in all the best ways! Something terrible happened to him this week.
On Tuesday, a fire ravaged his home. He showed up to my house today with a few boxes of comic books, that is all that remains of his belongings. Fire is so devastating, it happens fast and rips holes in people's lives. There's no way to replace sentimental things except to keep them alive in memories, but we can help replace the necessities for everyday life. Clothing alone is expensive, but add everything else in and it adds up quickly.
I ask you all please to help Matt in his hour of need! He truly is a great friend who has done so much for me and this is the very least I can do to help begin the healing process.
