DMC 6th Grade Overnight Camping Trip!

As you may have learned from our video appeal from students, we're going camping! Forty-five of our hardworking sixth graders will be taking their science learning of weather and water outdoors. We're headed to the New Hampshire AMC Mountain Classroom camping trip, where we will deepen our science learning, hike, and strengthen our community through outdoor activities.
For many of our students, this is their first time going on an overnight camping trip, hiking in the woods, and heading to the great outdoors. But... we need your help! With the cost of lodging, food, the intensive program, and buses, the costs are high but our hearts are big! Please consider making a donation to our field trip. No amount is too small! Thank you!

We are sixth grade students and teachers from the largest K-8 school in Boston Public Schools--The Dever-McCormack K-8! Our school values working hard, working together, and being proud members of our school community. The students attending this camping trip fully embody our school's mission, and we are so excited to take them camping!
