Hello kind friends,
Sadly my 3 year old dog Link has been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. He is my complete and utter life and is the reason I actually decided to start studying vet nursing.
He’s the type of boy who is a unqualified therapy dog and can detect any sign of stress within me and instantly comes to my side. I’m not kidding when I say he will always be my first born, I even have him tattooed on me so he will ALWAYS be apart of me. (Him as a puppy!)
He has an Instagram as listed above if you want to see some adorable photos of this precious boy who deserves to live a longer life than anticipated if we don’t intervene surgically.
As you can expect, it’s an extremely expensive surgery (arthroscopy) which involves them removing the fragments of the joint which is causing pain and inflammation and can provide some comfort when he uses his leg. I do work part time but if anyone has any spare cash they’d like to do good with please think of donating to link and his cause. ANY amount will be of great help towards his surgery and my out of pocket cost which will take a fair amount of time to gather together and this sort of surgery needs to be done sooner rather than later. :(
