McKenna Conlin NHD Nationals

McKenna's National History Day presentation has been selected as one of the projects to represent Washington State at the national finals in College Park, Maryland from June 9-13. The theme of this year's contest is "Turning Points in History" and McKenna chose to write and perform a play about the life of Margaret Sanger titled "Margaret Sanger Fights for Reproductive Freedom: A Turning Point for Women". She has spent several hundred hours since September researching, writing and rehearsing her performance and is very proud to be representing Washington State at the national finals.
