Thompson Family Fire Recovery Fund

A family in our community could use your help. Gerald and Ashley Thompson experienced a devastating house fire on September 5th, that led to the passing of their three-year-old son, Landon. The family has nine other children that were affected by this tragedy. All donations will go towards the needs of the family, these needs include but are not limited to, funeral costs, food, clothing, housing, and other basic needs. 

I am a family friend of the Thompsons and two of the sisters, Ziara and Mercedes play on my 8th-grade girls summer basketball team. This is deeper than basketball. Over the summer these girls have become more than teammates. They have become a family.  We are asking the Warrior family and our community to rally around Ziara, Mercedes and the Thompson family.  Once we have reached the burial cost, I will be withdrawing the money to a personal bank account. The money raised will pay Tennesee Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery for burial cost.
