Warriors for Jim
Donation protected
Jim Procter has been a blessing to many. He gives his whole heart to his wife, his family, his friends and the Lord. Jim brings so much joy to everyone and is a shining light of positivity, love and compassion. He gives so much of himself to others and asks nothing in return. He is such an example of faith and lives such an honorable life.
Jim was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer in January 2018. Despite a stem cell transplant, the cancer has returned very aggressively. Jim is a warrior and is fighting for his wife, his five children, his grandson and his friends. In April and early he was hospitalized for an entire month. Last week was one of his most challenging weeks with 2 ER visits, chemo, extremely high blood sugar over 700 ( cause unknown) and then a very bad episode Saturday. He has just been admitted to UVA in the Hemotology/Oncology Unit where they are providing amazing care for him as they evaluate, perform tests and treat. Tomorrow he goes in for a spinal tap. Despite all of these challenges, he continues to fight hard and keep his optimistic spirit.
Jim and Maria have done so much to help others and love on them. They have dropped everything and helped countless people. It is now our turn to love on them. We know this is difficult time for everyone right now. If you could please give a donation of ANY amount it would be greatly appreciated!! All donations will be used for Jim's rapidlymounting medical bills and every little bit counts and adds up. There are also other ways you can help: make a meal and deliver to their doorstep, bring groceries, or bless them any way you can. Anything would be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
Please pray for Jim, Maria and their children. Jim considers all of us to be warriors with him. Anyone who has been a caretaker knows how hard it is and Maria is doing it while she runs a business, takes care of her family and manages Jim’s very complex medical needs. Thank you so much for blessing them!!
