These are my parents, Jim and Michelle Atkins.
They are humanitarians of the greatest kind. They spent 5 years in them greater Biloxi/Gulfport, MS area working with FEMA and rebuilding houses for Hurricane Katrina victims.
They finally bought their own home in Conroe, TX in November 2015. They just finished work on the house in May, and now it is destroyed... Thanks to Hurricane Harvey.
They have currently taken on 7-8 feet of water, adding to the 2 feet they started with yesterday, totaling 9-10 feet. Their entire first floor is currently entirely underwater.
Your donation will provide them the relief they need - assistance while they remove the debris from their home, food for them and their two dogs, and start the process of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
I am hoping to get the funds to them as soon as possible, so they might be able to start repairing from the devestation this has caused them.
Please consider assisting two people who have given their entire selves to helping others. Thank you.
