Help Eddie beat cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Eddie. I am 68 years old and I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. The cancer is in my throat on my vocal cords. I happened to find out that I had cancer during a tour of duty with FEMA in Puerto Rico where I was helping victims of Hurricane Maria. I was sent home to start the process of treatment for my illness.
Through the next several months, I worked with the Veterans hospital to begin beating this cancer, but it has taken a toll on me that I was not prepared to deal with. I am the owner/operator of Warrens Custom Concrete, a job that I have invested my entire life to build. There is no denying that the concrete world is tough, and it requires a healthy, hard working individual to maintain. In order to prepare for treatments, I had a tracheostomy and all of my teeth removed. This has tremendously impacted my ability to work and now I am in jeopardy of losing all of my equipment, my business, and all of the hard work I have invested.
I want nothing more than to be able to beat this cancer and go back to doing what I love to do, and that is serve my community and help my family. I have a son that owes me a grandchild, and I intend to see that day during my lifetime.
I can't bear the thought of losing my ability to work. Will you please help me?
