Naomi Mohr's Emergency Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
It was 1972 and she was quite a site.  A hopeless single mom with a 2 year old daughter and a 4 month old son.  Her marriage had ended and she was beginning a long unchosen journey looking for a reason to hope!

I was that two year old little girl, and I watched my mom struggle and work hard to provide for my brother and me.  She took any job she could find including 25 years of private health care.  The work was physically hard, cooking, cleaning , and managing all aspects of caring for these precious folks.   Her final lady client, Joan died Dec. 2012.

January 27th, 2013 was her first fall with serious injuries that required 911, paramedics and a trip to the E.R.

Since that day Naomi has not been able to work at all!  She has spent all her savings on daily expenses and medical costs, and her only source of income is Social Security.

One year ago today, (April 20th 2015) began a series of physical and financial set backs. It started when Naomi had hip revision surgery, April 20th, 2015 to replace the artificial hip she had done almost 20 years previously. After this surgery she went to transitional care for a month and a half and then was sent home. Less than 24 hours later she was back in the hospital in horrible pain and not able to get herself up to use the bathroom. She stayed in the hospital a few days and then was sent to another TCU (transitional care facility) and then home, where she struggled to regain her independence and mobility.

Consequently she has had many falls since, the first one resulted in broken ribs, after the hospital trip she was sent home to recover. The next fall was much more severe in which she suffered from multiple, very painful pelvis fractures during which she was in a TCU facility for over a month and then sent home only to fall again. This fall was a couple months ago and resulted in 3 very painful neck fractures and another trip to a TCU facility. Naomi had been at home recovering from this last fall and then fell again this past Wednesday April 20th, 2016, a year to the date of her hip surgery a year ago. This last fall resulted in a broken femur, surgery and a plate and pins put in her right leg.

As I write this, My Mom, Naomi is currently in the hospital recovering from surgery and will be sent again to another TCU facility to recover until she can regain her strength to return home.

This last year has been a struggle to watch my Mom suffer with so many injuries and on top of that, the many medical bills that follow multiple trips in the ambulance, medical transport and many TCU stays.

My mom has spent her life loving and helping people.  Now she needs our help.  Would you consider joining us in giving her the financial relief she needs so she can concentrate on healing and not having to worry about the medical bills that need to be paid at this time?

Anything helps and everything that comes in will go directly to her care.

Thank you for standing with us! We love and appreciate you.
