Medical Fund for Elycia
Donation protected
This is Elycia and her daughter Apple. On Monday, September 5, 2016, they were riding their bikes to Honeysuckle Beach in Hayden, Idaho, when Elycia was struck by a car. Apple, age 8, watched in horror as her mother was thrown in the air from the impact. Her bike was totalled from the car hitting her. The person left the scene of the crime, leaving Elycia lying on the ground 20 feet from the impact. We are seeking funds to help support this family for upcoming medical expenses and living expenses. Elycia is a single mom with no medical insurance and cannot work at this time. Elycia suffered numberous broken bones and other significant injuries to her head. We are reaching out in hopes to help cover the tremendous costs that will be involved in this trying time. Funds will be needed immedately as the medical expenses have already begun to occur. Her first surgery on her ankle and arm will be this week. By helping this family with the expense we will be taking a lot of stress and worry from her as she begins the long process of healing. This will also help Apple heal as she is beginning school this week and will help with the nightmares she is currently having. We are so thankful for all the support that will come by creating this page. Elycia is a very dedicated, hard working mom to Apple.
