2nd Transplant Travel Expenses

This is the current situation; if some of this is repeat info then I’m sorry for that. Nikki is in a struggle for her life at this time. She has a ventilator (breathing tube) and a pneumothorax (partially collapsed or fully collapsed lung). She survived the transplant, but she has a few serious complications to overcome. The reason the family is pleading for donations and assistance has to do with the requirements of a transplant. Once Nikki fights through all these challenges and gets released from the hospital, she HAS TO STAY WITHIN MINUTES of the hospital for a minimum of 6 weeks. This is a requirement for her continued care. She can’t go home (which is 2-3 hours from the hospital). Someone must stay with her all the time. The family has no friends or family in the area to depend on. The last transplant cost well over 10 thousand dollars just to have a bed to sleep in for this extended period. The family is desperate. We ask you to please donate if you can, but PLEASE SHARE the link, info, and story and beg your friends to donate if they can and share with their friends. This is one big worry that can be taken away and help to give Nikki the best chances possible to get through the second FIGHT OF HER LIFE. Bless you and thank you. My name is Nikolette and I am a 19 year old warrior and survivor. Diagnosed with many immune system issue at age 13, one of them took precedence as it was actively destroying my otherwise normal and healthy liver. I battled it for 6 years before the disease overtook my liver completely. I had a liver transplant in July 2017. I must admit that process was incredibly traumatic and terrifying but I had my parents and fiance around to keep me company and support me through it all. I spent 2 months in a hospital that was 3 hours away from my home. My parents tried to visit as much as possible but funds ran out quickly and we fell into debt. We're just now getting out of that debt but it leaves us flat broke. Unfortunately, I am severely rejecting this liver and require a second transplant to stay alive. This time, nobody can afford to travel up to be with me and I'm sitting in the hospital alone, frightened and worried how this will go.
