Cambodia Deposit

wanted to share with you all a little about what God has been doing in my life. Some of you may know, most don't. About two years ago at National Youth Advance a seed was planted in my heart to do missionary work. A missionary prophesied over me saying "like Esther the favor of God is all over you! I don't know when or how, but your going to be a great leader in this world". That was all the con...firmation I needed. I began to really emerge myself in books and studies about mission work and missionaries personal stories. I know that the work is hard, but I am up for the challenge that God has called me to. I feel like this is the year that God is sending me out to start my ministry. I went on my first trip just last week and it was life changing! Even more passion for the missions field was brewed in me!
The day after I got home I received two emails. One from a dear friend that told me she was the director of an outreach program called Urban Promise Honduras. The take about 15 college students a year to Honduras to run a Christian Children's camp. In prayer God told her to invite me on the trip. The same day I also got a message from someone I had just met that said "Blessed is she who has believed the promises The Lord has for her" Luke 1:45 . With that was the link the the Jordan International Application to travel with them to Cambodia in December. I found myself completely overwhelmed at what God was doing. It is clear that He is opening doors for me!
I tell you all this, one a a testimony. And two I would like to start fundraising and picking up donations. The cost for Honduras is $1000 plus my air fair and The deposit for Cambodia is $1500 due on May 15th! That's $2500 in less than a month! Yikes I know! But God is able!
