Antoinette's Colon Cancer Fundraiser

Donation protected

Aloha to all,
I am writing this letter with the intention of asking for your monetary assistance with my wife's current and ongoing battle with cancer. The first time the oncologist diagnosed Antoinette with colon cancer stage 3C which spread to 25 of 27 lymph nodes around her lower colon and having to surgically removed 18 inches. The reason I am sending out this email is my wife has chosen not to do chemotherapy this second round of fighting cancer due to the side effects experienced the first time with twelve treatments and six months on chemotherapy (nausea and depression, losing hair, neuropathy "“ a constant feeling of numbness, and little needles sticking you from her knees to her feet and from her elbows to her fingers). This second round with colon cancer has progressed to stage 4 which is the worst you can have being that it has metastasized or spread. The oncologist and surgeon agree surgery is not an option due to the delicate or unorthodox locations the cancer spread (around the left ovary, behind the stomach and in the left region of her neck). Also the process of chemotherapy does not guarantee she will live. Nor does it guarantee she will have a quality of life she had prior to the cancer.

Some may already know and some may not know my wife and best friend Antoinette A. Tau'a. She is a mother of four beautiful children (Front left to right "“Keanae -7, Tauarii "“ 3, Alexzondreia "“ 12, Ikaika "“ 10, Troy, Antoinette), a double major (psychology and biology), and is finishing her second year of four in the Pharmacology doctoral program at Creighton University to become a pharmacist in 2015 (originally 2014 but the first cancer held that up).
We will have been married for fourteen years this May and have had the opportunity to travel this country for the work I perform. When my wife was first diagnosed with colon cancer stage 3C twenty two months ago she expressed her heart when she said," I am not afraid of dying because I know where I am going when I die. I just want to watch my children grow up and have their own families."

There is a cancer cure called the Gerson Therapy for specific cancers and other chronic degenerative diseases. However the cost for the equipment (specific - Norwalk juicer and press for the produce), supplements, and the weekly regime of vegetables and produce is above what our income allows. And this regime will continue for a minimum of two years with strict adherence to the protocols required. Over the next two years Antoinette and I are facing a $60,000 added cost to our overall family budget for the necessary equipment, supplements and additional organic food purchase costs.
As is with most, if not all of us, when we or a loved one is in a fight for their life there is nothing we would not do to keep them alive with the quality of life deserved. But with that said I want to say you are not giving monetarily without any return. Your financial support will allow you to be witness to the life giving nutrients of vegetables and fruit, and the giving of life will allow our family to continue our ministry to love and care for others as we have done for over a decade. This regime will continue for a minimum of two years with strict adherence to the protocols required. Please fill free to go to the Gerson Therapy website (http://gerson.org/gerpress/) to attain more information.
