On October 5, 2020 Bexar County Precinct 2 Deputy Constables Leticia Martinez and Alfred Alcantar were struck while working an off duty job by a driver who was dDriving Under the Influence of Heroin at a high rate of speed
Deputy Alcantar received several injuries during the crash with the worst injury to one of his legs. Deputy Martinez took the force of crash. She was seriously injured when both her legs were crushed. Both Deputies are expected to make a full recovery. Deputy Martinez has a long road ahead of her to recover.
First we are asking for your prayers for both Deputies and their families. Second we are asking for your support. As first responders we are all one family. We want to provide any bit of relief we can for both Deputies. There is no way of knowing when either of them will be able to work again and we want to do what we can to help releave some of the financial expenses from this incident.
