Pj Lafaille Medical Fund

P.J. has had multiple health issues that have involved multiple surgeries throughout the years. On February 6, 2016 he was headed for surgery to repair a herniated disc and receive a spinal fusion for his broken vertebrae. On his way his vehicle was rear-ended at 45mph by someone who was texting and driving. This accident caused further damage to PJ's spinal coard and nervous system.

He was told there was nothing more that could be done for his condition and that only time would tell how much, (if any) healing of the spinal damage would take place. This was crushing news. PJ currently deals with constant pain. The outlook of no relief from this would be overwhelming!

Recently he was given new hope! Through an old friend, he was contacted by a doctor who just happens to have developed a cure for his condition 18 years ago at the Mayo Clinic. (This is the miracle that we have all been praying for!) The Dr. is confident he can help PJ. Starting in July they will be traveling back and forth to Minnesota from South Carolina as many times as it takes for PJ to be healed.

PJ has been unable to work for quite some time. He has a young family to support and all the regular bills we all deal with. Due to the multiple surgeries, various medications and copays required for his treatment he and his wife are unable to keep up financially and already have accumulated overwhelming debt. The added cost of travel for treatment is yet another mountain. Unwilling to ignore the Light they've been given, they WILL make these trips for treatment by this Dr. in Minnesota, but they must find a way to cover these costs.
