Shane Kelley is having major surgery!

   Thank you so much for visiting Shane Kelley's donation page! Your interest in helping Shane during this difficult time is appreciated far more than you could ever know. With this website, as well as Shane's CaringBridge page, we hope to create a vehicle for financial and emotional support to get him through the medical challenges that lay before him. 

   On April 22, 2013, he will undergo the first of at least two invasive surgeries to correct a birth defect in his kidneys. In addition to the physical toll this major operation will take on his body, the cost of the surgery is much greater than he is capable of taking on alone. If you've had the good fortune of meeting Shane, you know it is not in his nature to ask for help or handouts, but this daunting and humbling situation is one of those moments in life where we must put pride aside and lean on the strength of our friends and family. Shane needs your help. And with these sites, there lies the opportunity to help him in multiple ways....

The first is to spread the word.

This means of support is crucial. As we all know, unfortunately, the looming burden of medical costs often trumps the fear of going under the knife itself. This certainly rings true for Shane.
