My best buddy passed away today after fighting an incredible 5 year battle with cancer. I could go on and on about all the memories I have of David from  hilarious to gut wrenching. I will always cherish these. I have been friends with David for almost 30 years and as a mutual friend of ours Carla said today "from thick and thin to the end", One of the reasons my husband Andy and I have loved David is because while at times not having insight into his own life, his own weaknessess,  he was always there for us. He wasn't  judgmental.  His advice and his take on things was heartfelt, genuine and I hate to say usually right.  David was knowledgeable about so many things, had so many life experiences, and yet he always had time for me, my children, and my husband. and of course all his friends.

I know that there are many of you who can say the same thing.  David touched so many people. He was charismatic, he lived large. He made you laugh, he made you cry, made you angry, but he always made time for you.  Didn't matter where you came from, what you did for a living or who you ran with. He told you his opinion, his beliefs and if yours was different, he was still your friend. He usually told you that you were wrong, but he was still your friend!

We want to make sure David has a proper burial. We would like for his friends to help us thank him for being our friend. We ask that you please donate soon if you feel compelled to.
