Lung Cancer Battle

Octavio Duarte is my long time friend who has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 Lung Cancer. He is a devoted husband, father  to 3 sons, grandfather of 3 and a fourth coming soon. 
 
 Octavio is a very hard working man, and has a zest for life, along with a good sense of humor. He has always enjoyed playing and watching soccer. In the past few years, spending time with his grandchildren has been the highlight of his day. 

 The last couple months Octavio would go to work off and on with was thought to be an ongoing flu, until he ended up in the hospital over 3 weeks ago with breathing problems. They have concluded that this is due to lung cancer.

 He is very determined to battle the whole way through this diagnosis. The process ahead will be  surgery and chemo therapy once his weakend heart is strong enough to pull through the procedures that lie ahead.
