Help Kyle Knock Crohn's Out The Park!

Donation protected

Kyle was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Crohn's disease. Most people are diagnosed between 20 and 30 years of age. Being diagnosed at such a young age has caused Kyle to have failure to thrive and loss of bone mass. This is due to the prolong use of steroids. Growing is a big challenge in his life. He gives himself his own growth hormone shot daily, he gets tube feedings at night, and eats by mouth during the day. Southern Health (yes, we are calling them out) has decided to stop paying for all feeding supplies. His formula is $600.00 a month and that doesn't include feeding bags, peg tubes, and syringes.
Kyle is the patient that doesn't just have it in his ileum and beginning colon, but his entire GI track from top to bottom. To keep his GI track under control he takes 10, sometimes more, pills a day. He gets an infusion called Remicaid, every 4 weeks. He has a yearly hospital stay for about a month each year. He is put on complete bowel rest (no food by mouth); only nutrients by IV.
We are not just raising money for Kyle, but for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. To hopefully contribute to finding a cure for this awful disease. We hope to make more people aware of Crohn's disease and the dibilitating effect it can have on people who suffer from it. Kyle has a passion for sports regardless of how he is feeling. His coaches get 110% from him every practice and game. Baseball is his favorite: so, help Kyle and many others knock Crohn's out of the park!!
