Katie's Battle With Leukemia

On August 6th, 2016 Katie Otero-Henriquez went to the emergency room due to a stomach ache. After multiple test, it was confirmed that Katie(10 yrs) was diagnosed with Leukemia. On August 8th, she started her first set of chemotherapy and is currently in intensive care.
Katie was supposed to start fourth grade this year with all her friends. Sadly because of this disease, she will take some time off due to her condition. She has a loving family who are currently struggling with the fact that their daughter/sister is going through such a horrible disease at such a young age. Katie's father recently lost his job of nine years and are all struggling to keep up with the bills.
Katie has medicaid but, unfortunately, there is a limit to the amount they can pay. The money we raise will specifically go to those cost and to Katie's family.
I ask of you, sincerely, to help us out. Whether it’s with a share, prayer, or a small donation. We appreciate anything and are so grateful for all your help. We pray and hope that Katie makes a full recovery and is back to her normal routine.

El seis de agosto, Katie Otero-Henriquez tuvo que irse al hospital de emergencia. Katie, que solo tiene diez años la diagnosticaron con leucemia. El ocho de agosto, Katie comenzó su primer quimioterapia y la pusieron en un estado intensivo.
Katie iba comenzar el cuarto grado con todos sus amigos. Tristemente no va poder regresar por un tiempo. Katy tiene una familia bella, que en el momento están luchando para su hija. El papa de Katie a perdido su trabajo y están buscando todo manera para pagar para el tratamiento de Katie.
Katie tiene Medicaid, pero por desgracia hay un límite a la cantidad que pueden pagar. El dinero que recaudemos irá específicamente a los costos del tratamiento ya la familia de Katie.
