8/12/16 UPDATE: Walpole Island First Nation (Indian) Reservation has kindly donated $4,000 toward Dona's funeral expenses. Thank you to this community for such a generous act of support!

This fund is created to support our cousins, who just tragically lost their beloved mother, Dona Lawrence, 62, who was brutally murdered in her own home Wednesday morning, August 10, 2016.

Dona's children are struggling to deal with funeral expenses among all other difficult things right now so any donations of support would help so much and are deeply appreciated.

Dona loved her family and children so much. She loved to laugh and bring joy and inspiration to those around her. She is loved and remembered by so many, remembered forever by her daughter Renee Lawrence, 42, her sons Jason, 40, and James Lawrence, 35, along with her two grandsons Jake 15 and Ethan Lawrence, 10 and her granddog Charli Bell.
