Support Sam's surgery

Hi funders,
Meet Samantha - my beautiful, fun-loving, 24 year old friend who at a young age was diagnosed with Bethlem Myopathy.
Samantha recently found out that she has a tumour in her left femur and will shortly be receiving surgery to have the tumour removed.
As a result of the surgery, along with Samantha's Bethlem Myopathy, the expected recovery period for Sam will be at least 3 months with minimal movement followed by extensive rehabilitation. Sam is a wheel chair user that has had to purchase a $12,000+ bed to assist with her daily mobility post-surgery.
Samantha and her Mum, Maria Zappia, are so grateful for the support received by the NDIS however still owe a few thousand dollars on her new bed.
