This Gofund is set on behalf of the “SMART FARMERS ASSOCIATION OF THE GAMBIA “ TO HELP GAMBIAN FARMERS!
##Natural Disaster again in the Gambia##,
## the wind storm of 7July 2021, has devasted infrastructure, homes, crops, livestock and services in the North Bank Region, WCR and KMC##.
Farmers who are the poorest and with poor housing conditions were affected the most. Women, children and elderly are amongst the most vulnerable. Majority are internally displaced and accommodation and shelter are not available to them to cope the raining season wet and windy weathers.
SFATG is mobilizing resources locally and internationally to support the most vulnerable Farmers with seeds, food, building materials, water supply families to mitigate the effects and build the resilience of Farmers to participate fully in farming activities.
Supporting farmer victims to recover is what we asking from humanitarian and faith based organisations to complement government and national disaster management agency NDMA.
