About 4 years ago I picked up running, just 2 or 3 miles every once in a while. Fast forward a few years and I've completed 4 half marathons and 1 full marathon. I could have never imagined how God would use running in my life to connect me to people, keep me in shape and allow me to explore my new city, Columbus, OH.
On Nov. 20th, 2017, I have the incredible opportunity to run my second full marathon in Curitiba, Brazil as an athlete ambassador for Greater Columbus Sister Cities International and the Columbus Marathon. I'll be spending 5 days with a Brazilian host family; exploring the city, trying new food, and immersing myself in a new culture. Oh yea, and running 26.2 miles!
I am so excited to be representing Columbus in Brazil this summer but I need your help to get there! Please consider donating to cover expenses for international travel and the purchase of a Brazilian visa.
