Rescuing a BLM Mustang
My goal is to rescuse a mustang and save him from a life of living either in a holding pen or feed lot.
The trauma of being captured, separated from his family, his wild life forever gone, and now being held in a holding pen for a year(s), is no life for this magnificent horse. I want to help rescue a mustang and I need your help to adopt him. I want to provide a mustang with a forever home, where he can live peacefully and happily for the rest of his life.
To adopt and rescue, I must comply with BLM adoption rules. I must provide a corral with a minimum size of 400 square feet and six feet in height. Along with the corral, a three sided run in shelter box must also be provided. Priefert Mustang Panels (which are in compliance with BLM Regulations) are $192 per panel and I will need at least 7 panels and one panel gate gate at $302. The minimum cost to provide a corral per BLM regulations is $1,700, which does not include tax or shipping charges. A long with the corral, I will also need to provide a 12'x12' shelter box, which I have estimated to cost $1,800. So my total estimated cost to adopt and rescue a mustang is $3,500, which doesn't include adoption fees.
If I exceed my goal of $3,500, all additional monies will be used to provide an even better home for the mustang that I rescue. More panels will be bought, so he has a bigger corral to live in initially, rubber mats and anything else that will make his life better. I'm asking all animal lovers everywhere, to help me rescue a mustang from the holding pens, and let's give him a forever home. Time is of the essence and "Sundance (his new name, instead of a number)", says "Thank you" for saving me and rescuing me!
