The Fund to Fix Finn's Feet

This is Finn. He was born with 4 clubfeet. We rescued him when he was 6 months old. Others passed him by. I guess because no one wants to adopt a special needs puppy. Their loss, our gain. Finn is a lovable, sweet little guy. He is as game a puppy as ever there was. He tries to run and play and do all the things our older dog does, even though he cannot keep up. That doesn't stop him from trying.


Finn is in almost constant pain. His back feet are twisted inward. He has to turn them out in order to put them down flat to walk. This throws his knees and hips out of place as well. He cannot sit for very long, so he mostly lies down. He has trouble walking for long periods of time. When he gets tired he tends to trip and fall a lot. To add insult to injury, the bones of the middle toes on all 4 of his paws grew curved to the side, almost as if they were dislocated. As a result, his paw pads are pushed to one side and do not offer the protection that they should.


We were recommended to a well respected and highly regarded orthopedic veterinary surgeon. He can fix Finn's back legs. He is even going to try to fix his toes. The operations will alleviate his pain and prevent even worse problems with his knees and hips, as he grows older.


The surgery comes at a significant cost. We want to help him. We adopted him to improve his quality of life. He improves ours every day by giving us unconditional love and bringing even more joy into our lives. We are trying to raise money to do for him what he has done for us.
