The Kabaka's representatives in U.S.A. and Canada are working together under the umbrella of the non-profit - 501(c) 3 organization Buganda Bumu North American Convention, Inc. (BBNAC), to raise funds needed to ship the mobile clinic vehicle to Buganda Kingdom. This vehicle was donated to Buganda Government.
Our goal is to raise $25,000.00 needed to ship the vehicle to Kampala and also pay 6% of the vehicle's value for the handling charges (not tax) in Uganda. This vehicle is specifically designed for medical purposes and it was previously purchased and used by the Carter Blood Care Center in Dallas, Texas. Buganda Bumu North American Convention, Inc (BBNAC) is a tax exempt organisation - 501 (c) 3. Your donation will be tax deductible.
We would like to ship this vehicle to Uganda as soon as possible.
Since his coronation in 1993, the King of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s mission has been to address, through his Ministry of Health, the key critical health challenges in his Kingdom of Buganda, specifically issues related to reproductive health, child and infant mortality, maternal deaths and HIV/AIDS. He has initiated, through his Ministry of Health, free medical camps, composed of teams of voluntary medical personnel that periodically camp in remote areas of the Kingdom and provide free medical services to people who cannot pay for these services. This Mobile Clinic vehicle will support the King’s free medical camps initiative.
Your donation will help Buganda Government deliver health services to needy Ugandans closer to where they live; and will support the King of Buganda’s free medical camps initiative to provide health care to some of the most disadvantaged and needy citizens of his kingdom.
