My name is Stephanie Lokey (from Roseville, CA) and I am Jason's neice, posting this campaign on behalf of my Aunt Xochil Johnson.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share with you all that our beloved Jason Johnson passed away Saturday, January 13th. He was only 42 years old.
We are at peace knowing that he is no longer in pain and suffering as he has been in the recent months as he battled cancer. He fought hard. His wife, Xochil, his sweetheart since high school, his soul mate and best friend, was with him at the hospital in his final hours and was able to say goodbye.
Jason was an incredible human being, with a kind heart and good soul. He was fun and goofy. He was a great father, husband, son, brother, friend and colleague. He worked hard and was passionate about his job at Pachamama. His love for Xochil, his son, Josiah and his family was immense. It is going to be a long road of healing and recovery for Xochil and she needs all of the help she can get in the upcoming months as she deals with this sudden and tragic loss of Jason and cares for Josiah.
This go fund me is set up to help her with any hospital bills, memorial costs, bereavement counseling, or whatever else her and Josiah will need in the weeks and months ahead.
