FIP treatment for Badem

Badem is a 10-month-old blind baby girl that took refuge in our home when she was just 1 month old. We are not a rich family but we do our best for Badem (means Almond). 

Last week something changed: She stopped eating, her belly started to swallow, and we took Badem to the vet with the money that was sent us as charity.

We got the verdict: FIP. Wet fip that kills the cat fast.

I am a high school graduate, studying for the university exams. My father has been let go of his work during the pandemic. This is why we cannot afford this expensive treatment. Some really amazing people encouraged me to start up a fundraiser, but I do not live in a big city, I don’t know anyone who lives outside Turkey (gofundme doesn’t operate here) and I know very little English.

On top of all these, I am told that I need to set up Instagram account and upload photos and videos, but I’m using an old cell-phone with buttons, not a smart phone. (I had had a smart phone but I had to sell it to pay for another stray’s operation two years ago)

Someone promised to send his old smart phone to me soon, but we don’t even have money to do the initial bio-chem panel. 

If I could go out and sell stuff on the streets, I would definitely do it but there is a total lockdown here. 

I just have to find the vials. 

Badem has wet fip and she is tiny, so I hope that she won’t be a huge burden on many people.

If you are able to send us a couple of dollars, you will be saving yet another kitty from FIP.

Every 17 dollars will let Badem live for another day.
