Alicia Merrell was one of the six people shot and killed in the city of Atlanta during this past weekend. She was a beloved daughter, sister, grand daughter mentor and friend to many. Her mother Sonja said her daughter was the type of person her siblings looked up to “ they listened to her more than they did me” she said
Alicia was shot multiple times while unloading a U-haul and her family does not know why.
The community at Alicia’s vigil said she was generous and always helping others and she was always looking to the future
