Assistance Till Social Security

I currently went under Brain Surgery over a week ago to have a very large mass removed. Back in 2011 I was diagnosised with Nodular Melanoma Stage 2C. However with newer CT Scans & a MRI, they found 9 masses in my brain, 4 in my lungs & one lymph node. I am Stage 4 now, but I am a fighter. I am younger, chemo should be easy. It's the radiation I never had before, so we will see. I will definitely keep everyone posted.
However in the meantime, I was to start working at BayHealth. It's been rough financially, which I counted on BayHealth to be my bread & butter. I do plan on going to Social Security, which should be easy considering, I think.
All I can think of is coming to the people, my family and friends for help. I hate doing this, and asking, however this may be easier than stressing about it.
