Dear Friends and Family:
I wanted to share with you a ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From May 20th through May 31st, God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Budapest, Hungary with Dallas Baptist University's Master of Arts in Counseling program. We will be working with the Hungarian Baptist churches, teaching pastors and church leaders the basics of pastoral counseling. I will be teamed up with other members of my program as we teach, minister to teachers and students in a local school near Budapest.
I am excited about the opportunity and experience that lies ahead. This past year I have developed a greater heart of compassion for God's people around the world. I am asking you to also be a part of this mission trip by investing in my life and in the lives of the people I reach in Budapest. I would like to ask for your prayers for me and the other young adults from DBU as we prepare and participate in this trip.
During the next several months, I will also be working very hard to raise the finances to participate on this mission trip. If you feel led to contribute a small donation, please click the Donate Now button. A special prize will then be sent to you in the mail if you choose one of The reward levels below. Aside from food and transportation, these funds will be going towards training. Your donation is tax deductible and DBU will send you a tax receipt.
Whether you feel led to contribute through prayer, financially, or both, all of your support is very much appreciated. If you have any questions or comments, you can always reach me at [email redacted]
Thank you so much for your consideration.
