Patrick Mann's Medical Recovery

Patrick Mann was in a mountain Biking accident in Utah. He will be in a body cast for the next 3 months with a very long recovery. Patrick and Camille have been friends of ours for many years and are incredible people. They have 3 sweet little kids. Patrick will be out of work while he heals. I know Camille would never ask for help, but we wanted to do this to let them know of the love others have for them. Please donate to assist in this difficult time. Patrick had a bad crash on his mountain bike. Luckily our brother in law (who is a doctor) and the EMTs were right behind him on the trail. He was brought down the mountain via ATV. At the emergency station he was alert and talkative and refused and ambulance. I (Camille) arrived and requested an ambulance to park city medical. There he received a cat scan where it was determined he had broken several ribs, his collar bone, a partially collapsed lung, and fractured T6 and T12 vertebrae. He was then life flighted to IMC where they discovered another fracture in his neck at C7. He will be fitted for a body cast and hopefully not have to have surgery. There is no brain damage or serious nerve damage. Thank God for his helmet! We are so grateful he is alive and will have a full recovery!!!

Camille told me about 20 minutes ago that Patrick will be getting surgery to alleviate bleeding in his lungs and be having titanium plates put in to fix his ribs before the body cast in put on.
