Savannahs's Medical/Dental Fund

We are Lorne and Lisa Butler and we are  raising money for our Daughter Savannah. For the past five years, Savannah has had chronic body pain and sleep issues. She seeked help from her Doctor who was not able to figure out what was wrong and desided it must be Fibromyalgia or something to do with her nerves. It wasn't untill she went to her Dentist with severe jaw pain that the pieces fell into place. He sent her for a sleep test, which determined she has positional sleep apnea, which means she stops breathing in her sleep but only if she is on her back. Sleeping on her back causes her jaw to fall back farther then it is supposed to causing her tongue to fall back into her throat making it hard to breath.  This causes stress on the jaw bone joint causing inflamation (capsulitis of the jaw joints) The inflamation streches out to the tendons that rest on her sinus causing headaches, sinus pain, and migraines, which also contributes to the sleep apnea. The inflamation isn't healing due to the fact that she does not go into  a restorative sleep due to the sleep apnea. It is a continuous cycle where the body tries to heal but cannot. Since the capsulitis of the jaw is not healing, her neck is compensating for the weight her head the jaw usually holds up making  her posture leans forward 2 inches. This causes her head to feel like 48lbs instead of the normal 14lbs. This causes a domino effect where her back is compensating for her neck, hips for the back, knees for the hips and ankles for her knees. Everything is connected, even the possibility of the depression and anxiety that she has been dealing with for years, since she does not get the proper sleep. 
  In order to fix this she will be getting two seperate appliances (one she will have for the rest of her life) and will be put on an anti-inflammation diet. Her Dentist believes she will be a successful patient and should be pain free in the next year. This is great news considering that she has been in pain everyday for the last 5 years. 
 Unfortunately, since it falls under dentistry her insurance will only cover 10% cost of the appliances. So we decided to try Gofundme to help her with the cost. To see our Daughter pain free as well as free from depression and anxiety would be amazing as it is hard to see your child suffer in pain. Savannah also wanted to share her story incase someone else is experiencing the same thing.   Every little bit will help and will be very much appreciated.  If you are not able to donate, we understand that as well.
