North Tyneside Oncology Infrared scanner for veins

As most of you know, I have battling incurable breast cancer for 2 years. The hospital I attend - North Tyneside, has a small, but amazing oncology unit dealing with al the cancer patients. I attend every month for my bloods and chemo, and slowly over time, my veins are packing up. Tonight it took 5 attempts to find a vein. Without a blood sample, I am not allowed the treatment keeping me alive.
I am looking to raise money to buy the oncology department an infrared vein scanner, that quickly and easily shows patients veins, no matter how deep. This will allow the nurses to access veins that they can’t normally feel.
This scanner will not only benefit me, but a whole range of patients undergoing life saving or life extending treatment for cancer.
Any money I miraculously raise over the £4,100 needed to buy the scanner, will be used to fund a second scanner or one for another local hospital that currently does not have. Alternatively, If I don’t reach funds for a second scanner, I will give the difference to Maggies Newcastle.
