Help our Flash!
After 3 nights in the veterinary hospital, Flash is still doing poorly with a very low white blood cell count & is in need of additional treatment. The doctor says puppies with parvovirus have the best chance of survival (90%) if they are hospitalized, but some need to stay up to a week. I put $1700 down on my credit card. The original quote was over 4k (maxing my credit out) for 4 days. Tonight is the 4th night. I haven't asked for anything like this before, but if you know what it's like to have a pet be part of your family, or simply have it in your heart, please consider contributing to Flash's treatment so he can get the proper care he needs to come home as our sweet, spunky, lovable puppy. I don't have to tell most of you what losing him might do to Owen. My son's been through the wringer this past 6 months, & that could break him. Thank you in advance, my friends & family. If you're curious about his treatment, he has a feeding tube (only licked at food a couple times) & he's getting antibiotics & other meds. They're keeping him hydrated but he's been vomiting a lot & has diarrhea. He's had an x-ray & a fecal transplant (he may need another tomorrow). They're keeping him quarantined. I'm going back to sit with him today, as long as possible. Please keep praying for our pup! And please consider helping him get better ❤️
