Help Abby Bussey Fight Still's

This spring, Abby was diagnosed with Still's Disease - a rare type of autoimmune inflammatory arthritis, only affecting about one in 100,000 people.Still's not only affects the joints, it also causes inflammation of the organs and high fevers. Although she was only diagnosed a few months ago, they feel it's reasonable to say she's been undiagnosed for about 3 years ... Unfortunately this means some internal and multiple joint damage has been done. Most of her joints have been affected and she is in extreme pain daily - as a result her mobility is greatly decreased. Abby has been hospitalized since early May. During this time, her care team has tried multiple treatment options but unfortunately her body has rejected each of them. The traditional methods are not working for her. They are now trying immunotherapy - basically it's a method of 'tricking' her immune system into 'rebooting' so it will stop attacking itself. The goal is to get her into a remission to stop or at least slow the destruction of the joints and lessen the degree of the chronic pain. Abby is 18 and facing medical bills and drug treatments not covered by health plans. Any help you can give is appreciated.
