Funeral Expenses for Marjorie

Hello Family & Friends,
My name is Javier Barcenas. At the height of the Coronavirus outbreak, my sister MaElena Barcenas was preparing for the birth of her first child (as shown in the picture above). Her pregnancy was high risk and she was ordered to go into the hospital. Upon being admitted the doctors discovered she had contracted coronavirus and immediately scheduled a C-section.
Unfortunately, she was placed on a ventilator unable to greet her newborn daughter who herself was covid positive.
For 33 long agonizing days, the family prayed for her survival as well as her daughters. Maya's mother had just battled breast cancer and rounds of chemo in 2019. She suffered mini-strokes along the way and now was facing an uncertain future if she would see her daughter and granddaughter alive.
God heard her prayers and after the 3rd attempt to remove my sister from the ventilator; Maya took her first breaths on her own and soon was awake. She had no memory of the birth and learned she was a new mother.
Mother, daughter, and new granddaughter were united; but this was only the beginning. My sister had to endure intense physical therapy to be able to walk. My sister still can only speak short sentences before feeling winded and has a partially paralyzed leg. Her mother also was still recovering from her own physical limitations but they both were determined to raise my niece, MarieElaina.
Marjorie (Pinky) to family continued to suffer mini-strokes and started losing her balance and falling. She was determined not to go into the hospital, but late in April had to be admitted into the hospital. Two days later it was confirmed she too had contracted Covid, a little over a year my sister had contracted the virus. The hospital had to place her on a ventilator.
We prayed for the same outcome but because her mother had other health issues; her fighting covid was that much greater. On May 1st; my sister was contacted that her mother had 24 hours to live, by the evening time her mother had passed.
Now my sister is faced with burial arrangements as well as trying to pay for everyday common things, due to her not being able to return to work. Before Covid, my sister was an active work for one of the automotive companies and preparing for a newborn daughter. Covid has robbed her of her health, her ability to work, and now her mother as she struggles to raise her daughter who just celebrated her 1st birthday.
