Stuart Hilton's Funeral

On July 4, 2016 Stuart Bruce Hilton lost his life, just one day after turning 30 years old.  As the third child in a family of six brothers and one sister, he was the most passionate of all about sports, closely following games on multiple devices at a time, traveling great distances to attend events, and knowledgeably conversing (or arguing) about any sport, athlete, or team. Even as a young child, Stuart would devour the sports section of his dad’s newspaper. Stu's spicy exterior could not hide his big, soft heart and he was easily the favorite uncle of his nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with them, dubbing himself "the baby whisperer." He was also very accepting of where people were at; he reached out to those seemingly on the sidelines at gatherings and would drop anything to help a friend or family member in need. Life dealt Stu some pretty tough blows, but he left a place that cannot be filled. He is preceded in death by his older sister Brooke and is survived by his parents, Hugh and Nalene, and his siblings, Duane, Greg, Brandon, Shaun, Geof, Lance, and Holly.

Funeral services for Stuart Hilton will be on Saturday, July 9, 11 a.m. Visitation from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. All services will be at the LDS chapel at 50 West 900 South, Orem, Utah.
