Hello,
My name is Sophie and I would like to share the story of Baby Joey.
Parents, Kelly Smith & Jonny Legacy just welcomed their first child on July 2nd at the Miramichi Hospital. Young parents, they have worked very hard to provide a beautiful life for Joey. Dad is working as many hours as possible to provide for his family.
On July 4th, Joey was airlifted to the IWK. There is a blockage in his bowel and the doctors need to help him as soon as possible. He is going through a lot of tests and possible surgery tomorrow.
The money we would like to raise would go directly to the parents to pay for traveling expenses, loss of income and most importantly, for the care of their newborn.
Miramichi is a small community with a big heart. I am asking you to help this young family who is doing everything to save their child.
