Jermeys Year Long Rehab

My name is Darrian Leu-Pierre 

I run a local non profit here in Denver Colorado. 

A few days ago I was out having lunch with my mom and some friends and we saw a homeless guy who looked like he would need some help. 

It is hard to figure out who is wanting help and who are just going to take and not take steps to help themselves. 

Over the last week with a ton of work we were able to spend quality time together and work hard to get him cleaned up. 

7 days in a hotel, clean clothes and shoes, lots of work to get his hygiene fixed. His hands and feet were hurting him how bad they were. You can see from the photos with lots of sleep and lots of love  over the 7 days what just a hello at lunch can do. The deal we made him is he had to get some rest and stay clean and we would help him get to a rehab. Addiction is real and Justin has been clean a week now it is NOT EASY!!! The last week has been a ton of work. We were very fortunate because of our relationship with a Christin based rehab center they have decided to allow us to sponsor Jeremy in a year long intense rehab program. Unfortunately nothing in life is free.  My non profit is about changing one life at a time. This is what we do.  Jeremy has struggled the last week staying clean and proving he is going to put the work in. He understands this year long program is not easy but it will change his life. The last 7 days has been crazy for all of us but God sure has constantly been by all of our sides the whole way. 

Funding a small non profit is super hard. It takes lots of donations and lots of time personal money from friends and family to help. Just getting Jeremy from the day we meet him till now has not been easy. Wednesday morning at 10 am he will finally get out of the hotel  and check into 180 ministries. 

We still are not sure how we will sponsor him over the next year or how in the next 24 hrs we will come up with the $600 needed to get him enrolled . What I do know is that God is real and Jeremy  has  proven (it has not been easy) that he is ready for change. 

My non profit will be taking on the challenge of sponsoring him. He is our family now. I do need help. We need the $2500 monthly to help him in his year long recovery. 

All funds that are made from this Go Fund me will be going to Jeremys recovery for his rehab as well as for when he is out of rehab and ready to have a completely different life. 

People hesitate to help homeless People I understand. What I do know is the last week Jeremy has put some hard work onto showing he wants help. We NEED YOUR HELP!! Anything will help. We need anything from a small donation to even monthly donations. Thank you so much for your help.
