Katie Day is a friend to everyone.  She and her parents, Jim and Carol are some of the truest friends anyone could have.  They are the perfect example of Christ like love.  They never judge, never tear down, never turn anyone away.  They have provided countless hours of service to everyone in their community.  They are the first to dig into their pockets to help whoever is in need.  They are the first to jump in to help anyone with anything.  They are the go to people when you need a friend.  They are the otter pop providers to all the children in the neighborhood.  They have an open door, open yard, open house policy for everyone.  They have been there for so many people over the years.  It is time we were all there for them.

Katie is currently on hospice.  It is estimated she has 3 months left to live.  No parent should ever have to watch their child deteriorate and die.  No parent should have to think about funeral expenses for their  33 year old daughter.  No one deserves it.  Nothing can be done.  We can't take away the pain.  But we can help to hold them up.  We can help them with much needed funds to cover the cost of all of these unforeseen expenses.  And there are many.  No one wants to think about money at a time like this...but if you want to know what you can do for them...this is it.  

There are medical bills for which Katie is not insured.  There is medication, and there are funeral expenses.  This is one of the hardest things any parent would ever have to deal with.  We love The Day Family.  Let's support them now with what they will really need most.
