Quest for Jr. Olympics 2016 Texas

We are the Bresnahan kids: Riley, Robbie, and Reagan. All three of us are hardworking honor students, dedicated to our studies and athletics. While most kids are playing with friends or at the mall, you will find us in the dojo training hard to reach our goals. Karate has taught us courtesy, discipline, confidence, respect, courage and determination. We have learned many life lessons outside of forms, weapons, and self-defense.
Based on our performances for Kumite Sparring, we have qualified for the 2016 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas. As a member of Acreage Martial Arts Team Storm and Team Florida we will represent our state in the Junior Olympic Games.
The funds raised will help pay for registration and travel expenses. We plan to travel July 29 - August 2.
Reagan - 9 years old "I want to attend Jr. Olympics because sparring has helped me get stronger, make new friends, develop better eating habits and learn to set goals. It is an honor to qualify for Jr. Olympics."
Robbie - 12 years old "Sparring has allowed me to make friends from all over the country. I have learned many life lessons about winning and losing."
Riley - 16 years old "Representing Acreage Martial Arts at Jr. Olympics is an honor. My performance in the ring is a direct reflection of the time and effort both my Sensei and I dedicate to my training. This is my first year competing and I finished first in the state of Florida. I am excited and proud to have qualifed for Jr. Olympics."
Traveling to Houston is a large expense for this family of five. We feel it is an opportunity of a lifetime to participate in Jr. Olympics and would hate to see the financial aspect prevent us from participating in such a positive experience. We will represent our state proudly and be grateful for your help. Please help us meet our goals!
