One of my dearest friends Elias Rios has endured a devastating tragedy this week. On April 24, Elias and the love of his life Kurt Peterson were in a car accident in Park City. They were each rushed to the University of Utah Hospital and while Elias thankfully is alive and recovering well, Kurt did not survive.
Dozens of people are in a state of profound sadness. Kurt was the most wonderful man and dearly loved by many. The pain surrounding this death is more difficult for Elias and his loved ones to bear than can be expressed in words. To call this event a tragedy is a painful understatement.
I have put together this GoFundMe in an effort to ease the burden of Elias’s medical expenses. While his injuries are minor, the bills will be major. Anything you can contribute is appreciated. Let us take this one burden off of his shoulders.
